If you guys have noticed, i have been active on beta, alpha and more recently back on eta, theta and zeta. A New Community is being built for Alliances that share the members of my alliances. Currently ONLY the ZETA alliance will be in this alliance, however an extention on beta, and alpha are in the works. from that we should beable to gain some experience and active userbase in which we will be able to expand to theta, eta, and other notable servers. ALL former POG alliances are welcome to Join the New Community.

    So I think I'm still adjusting to 3.0. I've found a few inactives that have a 0 GS. In 2.8 I used to be able to send just one archer to pillage. Now I do that and I get a message saying the unit is lost. So I sent a gunsman. Once again, I get a message saying the unit is lost. Now I'm currently sending 3 to see what happens. Do I need to send more? Please help me figure out what I'm doing wrong.

    Well, someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think either the GR or Town Hall acts as a defensive killing unit that will kill a single unit if you send one. Try sending 5 should do the trick. Make sure they aren't slingers though.

    I do not know the numbers off the top of my head but town walls do X amount of damage per lvl, in 2.8 it was 3 damage per lvl, I am not sure if that has changed or not with 3.0. Either way you have to make sure you send enough units to with stand their wall.

    Heh, I don't think I EVER made a slinger unit.

    I'll try sending more units...maybe the three I sent will suffice.

    My first successful pillage!!!

    I feel so dumb sometimes...never thought to check an inactives GS before... Rolling Eyes

    Now I am a few minutes away from my first successful pillage returning with:

    Wood: 10,916
    Marble: 1726
    Crystal: 4833

    I know it isn't a ton...but not bad for a first time, eh? cheers

    Question: This inactive player (no alliance) has a few towns in my location I can pillage...what are the rules again about how many times? I think the rule is that you can hit any particular town up to 6 times (=6 CRs)...is that per town of a particular player (6 CRs each) or divide 6 between their towns?

    Lucky, my first pillage only brought 1K wood and 900 wine...gotta find better targets
