If you guys have noticed, i have been active on beta, alpha and more recently back on eta, theta and zeta. A New Community is being built for Alliances that share the members of my alliances. Currently ONLY the ZETA alliance will be in this alliance, however an extention on beta, and alpha are in the works. from that we should beable to gain some experience and active userbase in which we will be able to expand to theta, eta, and other notable servers. ALL former POG alliances are welcome to Join the New Community.

I asked this in Gamma, but figured I'd throw it here, too. Anyone have any info about workshops, i.e. what level workshop allows which upgrades? I tried upgrading as much as I could before 3.0, but didn't get everything I wanted in time. Now I can't do it due to my workshops level being too low. Was wondering how far I have to go to get everything done.

I ran into the same problem you did and it took me some time to find it but here is all the info that you need on workshops. Apparently we now have to have a lvl24 workshop to get all the upgrades.

Check this link out for more details.

Yeah, I found that info too. Currently my workshop is level 16, still got a ways to go.

Once you research all the unit upgrades, can you de-construct the Workshop? I'm asking because I maxed out the research for my units and was wondering if I could clear it for another building. However, I wasn't sure if I would lose all my upgrades if I did that and I really don't want to take the chance. Anyone know for sure?

I had the same concern. Maybe someone can test this out on the test server and see what happens.

to answer the question.... If you had upgrades in a workshop, and you demolished the workshop, do they stay or go?

They stay. At least they stayed on the test server. Today I built a workshop, upgraded a slinger and deleted the workshop. What a Face I rebuilt the workshop, it still looked purchase, and I deleted it again because I realized I needed to look at the barracks with the workshop gone not rebuild a workshop. And the upgrade I didn't need is still in the barracks. YAY! Laughing I'm so efficient.

    But we know.... cheers

Awesome. Time to finish off those last few upgrades so I can get rid of this workshop once and for all.

Hope you guys don't mind me playing devil's advocate here...but has it been tested yet? I mean, have you taken the upgraded unit into battle without the workshop to see if it retains the upgrade bonus? If this test were done and passed then I would say it is a success.

You keep the upgrades after you have demolished your workshop. Just as you keep your researches after you've demolished your academies.
