I didn't care from the beginning.
I didn't post to get into the group, because I'm not exactly a spice girl kind of person, and I didn't complain to get out. I was amused. The day it got automatically added, I remember laughing about the whole concept of a the tag because if a Guy posted at random that he wanted a tag for 'Male Power-Go Guys!' without anything gender related going on, other guys would not have jumped on board. They would have whispered about the limpness in his wrists. I understand why you boys are jumping over and poking fun of the concept.
However, I actually do see the point of the group.
And I'm a realist. Girls & boys ARE different and are serviced by different things. Any subgroup will eventually poll (unofficially) each other and find out they want stuff. I always assumed it wouldn't end with a tag because that's how these things work.
Advertising PoG had known females as an actual group at this point is a wierd move in my opinion. I really expected one for the girls to PM a joke or something 'just to cute' to other girls who either happily comment back or ignore it and later someone to start doing a weekly or monthly forum PM OR somebody would ask for a separate subsection in the spam forum. You don't have a Girls community in PoG. You have girls that are in PoG and a couple of people that were interested in forming a community with them and some girls that don''t care. It's still to be seen if anyone cares enough to actually put forth the effort that building a community requires.
Girls have mixed reactions to pro-gender proclamation. And I dont care.
And some girls are very easy going with how they are treated...and I also don't care about their opinion at all. I wanted to come out and say that I'm very VERY conservative. I do my best to conduct myself as a lady. I try not to curse, generally don't talk about certain things in mixed company, and avoid treads that digress into topic a young lady should not to proud to be caught reading. And as such, I intend to be treated as a lady.
While your all considering names, keep that in mind. Be respectful.
